Our reviews and rankings are never for sale. Manufacturers and retailers do not get advance access to a review, the chance to edit it, or any say in the final rating — regardless of whether we purchased the product ourselves or received a review unit.
How We Test and Research
Where possible, we test products hands-on and compare them directly against category alternatives. When hands-on testing isn’t feasible for every item in a roundup, we base our analysis on verified specifications, aggregated owner feedback, and expert consensus — and we say so.
Corrections Policy
If we get something wrong — a spec, a price, a claim — we fix it as soon as we can verify the correction, and significant changes are noted at the bottom of the article. There’s no penalty for telling us we made a mistake; contact us and we’ll take a look.
Update Policy
Prices, availability, and even the best product in a category can change quickly. We periodically revisit our most-read content to keep recommendations current, and we date every article so you always know how fresh it is.
